Scheduling is the part every tool claims and few get right, because the hard part is not the calendar — it is the ten seconds after the timestamp passes.

Gongong AI dispatches from the database, not from an in-memory timer. A repeatable sweep claims due targets with row-level locks, enqueues them exactly once, and survives a restart mid-flight. A blip in the queue backend cannot lose a post, because the job row was written in the same transaction as the post itself.

When a network refuses, the failure is classified rather than retried blindly: an expired token pauses the account and asks you to reconnect, a rate limit reschedules to the platform’s own reset time, a transient error retries with jittered backoff, and a permanent error surfaces on the post card in words a human can act on.
